NBA: Player entourages to be limited to only 16 people for quarantine games

As the NBA gets closer to re-launching its season, the players were given some devastating news.  Each player will be limited to only sixteen people to fill out their entourage, Adam Silver announced this week.

“I know this isn’t popular news, but we must keep safety paramount,” Silver commented.  “NBA players will only be allowed to have up to sixteen people in their entourage.  According to our math, that’s the bare minimum for a player to function.  While this seems harsh, it should allow the appropriate amount of bros and boos for survival.”

“It just ain’t right,” James Harden remarked.  “Only sixteen per player?  That means I have to tell over forty squad members they’re going to be left in the cold?  Whatever.  This could be a blessing in disguise.  With so few people around, it might be a good time to focus on my game.”

While the players are busy whittling down their crew, federal health officials are not happy either.

“What?  Sixteen?  Per player?!” Dr. Fauci screamed.  “Are you insane?  That’ll be like eight thousand people!  You’ll be the number one hot spot by half time!”

NBA officials tried to calm Dr. Fauci down by explaining that each team would be required to trim their video coordinators down to only twelve people.
